| Summary | 0001340: libxml2 headers installed in wrong directory with yum | |||||||
| Description | Issue: I installed the libxml2-devel package and it put the header files in the /usr/include/libxml2/libxml directory. The main header file 'parser.h' references it's include files as <libxml/...> which will never be found. Work around: I created a /usr/include/libxml directory and copied the installed header file into the proper directory. (leaving the /usr/include/libxml2/libxml directory in place just in case. | |||||||

the libxml dir gets populated with the libxml-devel package rather than the libxml2-devel package. since both need to co-exist, this was the only sane manner to achieve the result |
