Summary |
0001939: Boot does not always switch to GDM login console automatically |

Description |
When booting x86 or x64 the GDM login does not automatically appear. Manual switch using keystroke alt-f7 does take user to login screen otherwise Virtual Console 1 is displayed as default.
The workaround is to remove "rhgb" option from GRUB conf file and points to bug in rhgb package in Centos 5. Another workaround is to upgrade rhgb package to Fedora Core 7 version which also resolves the issue. |
