0005890: Missing debuginfo packages

Hi, I notice that on the CentOS debuginfo repository
http://debuginfo.centos.org/6/x86_64/ [^]
the debuginfo files for the latest kernel are missing:

kernel-debug-debuginfo-2.6.32-279.5.1.el6.x86_64.rpm
kernel-debuginfo-2.6.32-279.5.1.el6.x86_64.rpm
kernel-debuginfo-common-x86_64-2.6.32-279.5.1.el6.x86_64.rpm

This is a serious problem because prevent me to update servers running SystemTap scripts.

I also just ran into this. Was trying to generate a backtrace for a php segfault but I can't do it without these missing debug libraries.

Also missing:

libidn-1.18-2.el6.x86_64
libjpeg-6b-46.el6.x86_64

I was also having problems with the signing on at least one of the debug packages that do exist, I believe it was either zlib or bzip2. I can retrace my steps if needed when someone is trying to fix the debug repo.

This problem makes it harder to develop on centos, unfortunately. It appears that scientific linux has all these debug packages, I may have to switch my dev and testing environment over to that.

These have been found and pushed:

fontconfig-debuginfo-2.8.0-3.el6.x86_64.rpm
libX11-debuginfo-1.3-2.el6.x86_64.rpm
libjpeg-debuginfo-6b-46.el6.x86_64.rpm

We are continuing to look for more, and will push more if/when we find them.

My understanding is that the debuginfo packages still missing are "lost" and what is currently available in the repo is all that could be found.

Would it be possible to rebuild and publish those that were requested by users? Maybe through people.centos.org? I see samba4 (bug#6137) and ncurses (bug#5950) as the candidates.
