| Description | this is the error while my system has the latest java version "1.7.0_05" : ERROR with rpm_check_debug vs depsolve: jre >= 1.5.0 is needed by libreoffice-ure-1:3.4.5.2-16.1.el6_3.i686 libjawt.so is needed by libreoffice-core-1:3.4.5.2-16.1.el6_3.i686 libjawt.so(SUNWprivate_1.1) is needed by libreoffice-core-1:3.4.5.2-16.1.el6_3.i686 | |||||||

And that java rpm has a provides of jre? It's not the java version we ship with CentOS, and I guess you don't have that java installed as an rpm - so how should the libreoffice package know about that? With the CentOS provided java version, everything works as desired. |
