If you are having problem installing kvm guests, that could be due to something else. I'd suggest you use one of the supporting venues such as forums and mailing list to get help. |

As I wrote earlier, please use one of the support venues to seek help. You need to provide more details (host OS, version, etc). The message you posted is harmless and is not an error. |

I have practically the same message. I discovered it this morning when I attached to the system console. The message reads:
kvm: 3449: cpu0 disabled perfctr wrmsr: 0xc1 data 0xabcd
I happen to be reloading the server this morning, so I'm not sure how much I can do. But if the problem recurs, what do you need from me to help resolve the issue?
BTW, the Bugzilla bug ID doesn't really seem to have this message, so I'm kind of surprised to see it referenced.
