|Summary||0012096: Network manager applet icon does not appear - is connected, but says it is not|
|Description||Logging into gnome/desktop sometimes the network manager applet will not appear.|
Checking network settings show it is connected.
Clicking on the icon area the network shows as connected. However, if you click on the current network device it says 'Connect'.

|Steps To Reproduce||Login and see the issue. Only happens sometimes.|
|Additional Information||This happens on bare metal and virtual machines.|
Don't ask why, but this issue can be alleviated by adding a '.drirc' file in your HOME folder with the following contents to turn off vsync.
