Summary0001211: New Update system using mirrorlist
DescriptionThis a place to report good and bad issues with the new update system.

This system polls external mirrors and only assigns mirrors that have been verified in the latest pass. It also assigns mirrors using Geo-IP and the IP address of the connecting client, so you should only get verified and geographically close mirrors.

Use of the fastest mirror plugin might help increase your performance as well.

Seems to work just fine here. Testing on a home machine with no proxy (comcast network). I'll test at work with the proxy there tomorrow.

This tracking bug is no longer required as the update system has been in production for several update cycles.
