What was the version of your *running* kernel when you tried to update the kernel?

Thanks. I suppose kernel 2.6.32-642.1.1.el6 was to be removed upon that kernel update. At any rate, those messages are harmless and can be ignored. This is a known bug and will most likely be fixed in RHEL/CentOS 6.9.

Supposedly fixed. If this is not the case, feel free to reopen or file a new report.
