Another user experienced a similar problem:

I was trying to implement the shared clipboard feature between my Guest CentOS7 and Windows 7 Host OS.
I was using Oracle VM VirtualBox, so I had to install the Guest Additions iso image. But I had a lot of trouble so
I followed some online tutorials: https://www.techrepublic.com/article/how-to-enable-copy-and-paste-in-virtualbox/
My steps:

1) Mount the iso
2) Cd into the iso
3) sudo yum install dnf # because the next step required dnf
4) sudo dnf install -y dkms kernel-devel kernel-devel-$(uname -r)
5) sudo su
5) ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run # run the installer within the mounted iso image
6) Complete installations and then reboot
7) Reboot freezes due to SELinux having issues
8) Followed more Tutorials: https://linuxacademy.com/community/posts/show/topic/10909-failed-to-load-selinux-policy-freezing-centos-7
9) Reboot again and pressed 'e' to see boot up entries
10) At the end of the line "linux16", added selinux=0 then rebooted with ctrl + x
11) Reboot had strange issue again and got a /sys/fs/cgroup mmap: Invalid argument error
12) Reboot again and for some reason works... but have this error being reported
