tru (administrator)

urgent? your 3.10.0-229 kernel is way too old, Please upgrade to the latest version of the **whole** CentOS-7 distribution, reboot into the current 3.10.0-514.26.2.el7 version and see if this has been solved.

TrevorH (developer)

Also, you're in a VM, why are you even trying to load IPMI modules?

guohao (reporter)

I don't know why try to load IPMI, but this bug has been fixed with RHBA-2016:2966-1.

thanks very much !

* Previously, a "NULL pointer dereference" problem in the pick_next_task_fair()
function occurred. This update fixes the bug by applying a set of patches on the
Completely Fair Scheduler (CFS) group scheduling. As a result, the "NULL pointer
dereference" problem no longer occurs. (BZ#1373820)
