Summary0014101: "Package does not match intended download" when installing python-itsdangerous from CentOS 7 Extras
DescriptionReceive this error when trying to install python-itsdangerous from Centos-7 Extras

Downloading packages:
python-itsdangerous-0.23-2.el7 FAILED
[Errno -1] Package does not match intended download. Suggestion: run yum --enablerepo=Extras clean metadata
Trying other mirror.

Error downloading packages:
python-itsdangerous-0.23-2.el7.noarch: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.

yum clean all doesn't fix. If I download the RPM and do a yum localinstall it works fine.

One theory is that the Extras repo is broken. Dated 2017-11-06:

As stated by Johnny in that specific threat - the repo is working fine. I also just installed that package from a mirror successfully.
So this is probably a local repo issue.
