|Summary||0014209: Documentation still available for deprecated and EOL'd releases|
|Description||I personally find it more than a bit silly that there still exists documentation for C2, C3, C4 and C5 on www.c.o while there can't, for whatever reason, be a text blurb or a link to EL6 and EL7 documentation. |
People are still coming into #centos referring to deprecated documentation. This is not only a disservice to the project's consumers but an added support burden as things have changed and people need to be pointed to the proper documentation.
If this out-of-date material can not be removed (and yes, it very much should be removed as it's apparently still indexed by google as people still use it) can someone at least mark it in BIG RED LETTERS that it's out of date and should not be referenced? Bonus points for re-doing www.c.o/docs entirely.
|Steps To Reproduce||Browse to https://www.centos.org and click through Documentation -> Manuals or go directly to https://www.centos.org/docs|
