Summary0014369: CentOS cloud images contain bogus name server in /etc/resolv.conf
DescriptionSince CentOS 7.2 (1511), the cloud images available at https://cloud.centos.org/centos/7/images/ contain a bogus nameserver entry in /etc/resolv.conf:

# Generated by NetworkManager
nameserver 10.0.2.3

Clearly this configuration is not generally applicable. In CentOS 7.1 (1503) this file was empty.

A number of network configuration tools, including cloud-init, prefer to append name servers to resolv.conf, and will not remove this bogus entry. This breaks name resolution.
