Summary0015228: grub.conf / GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX
DescriptionHello,
I notice the aws centos.org/centos7 ami (us-east-1 / ami-9887c6e7) /etc/default/grub file does not follow the RHEL7 format of...
GRUB_TIMEOUT=1
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR="$(sed 's, release .*$,,g' /etc/system-release)"
GRUB_DEFAULT=saved
GRUB_DISABLE_SUBMENU=true
GRUB_TERMINAL_OUTPUT="console"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="console=ttyS0,115200n8 console=tty0 net.ifnames=0 crashkernel=auto"
GRUB_DISABLE_RECOVERY="true"

I'm sure the ami's in other regions have the same behavior.

It would be great to adjust this file so that it matches both the Red Hat Cloud Access RHEL7 ami (us-east-1 / ami-0d70a070) and the Amazon/RHEL7 ami (us-east-1 / ami-6871a115).

This is related to work in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1619380

Thanks,
/Chris Callegari
