Summary0015287: No highlight color/mark on any text on web page opened with Firefox
DescriptionAfter installing latest updates and upgrading firefox to firefox-60.2.0-1.el7.centos.x86_64, highlighting any content does not show the content is marked by different color or a shadow of color. Though the content can be selected, copied and pasted.

Without marking by some color, it's very difficult to see what's being highlighted. It used to work fine.
Steps To Reproduce1. Upgrade Firefox to latest release and install all available updates as of 9/17/2018.
2. Open any web page and try highlight any content on a page.

Just to make sure I understand what your issue is correctly, I open a web page and double click on a word on that page (one that isn't a link) and the word is changed from black type on a white background to black type on a darkish blue background. Or I hit Ctrl-F and type in the word in question and it shows up as black type on a bright green background. If so then it works for me and it's a local problem on your end.

Put mouse cursor at one position, press and hold left side of mouse and move to end position. The texts from beginning position to end position should be highlighted with a color. The issue is there is no color marked highlighting.

You mean press and hold the left mouse button and swipe the text? Also works for me.

On the same machine, Chrome, Opera, Konqueror do not have this problem. So the problem is only with Firefox. I noticed after upgrade, firefox has more KDE style.

Without seeing the color mark, it's difficult to tell which texts are selected. It used to work, but it does not anymore.

I installed all updates as of 10/1/18. Still same problem.

I'm running CentOS 7.5, 3.10.0-862.14.4.el7.x86_64.

Also browser bar window loses highlight color. Tried starting a fresh .mozilla, still had same issue. Another issue is mouse wheel rolling stops working as well.
