Summary0016314: Peculiar warning during boot and in log-messages
DescriptionWhen I boot the machine I get the warning: AMD Processor - this hardware has not undergone upstream testing. Please consult http://wiki.centos.org/FAQ for more information.

I use CentOS 7 since it was realeased in 2014 on this very machine and up to now got no such warning. This issue exists
since I've updated the kernel form version 3.10.0-957.21.3 to version 3.10.0-957.27.2. The CPU is an AMD Phenom II.

During the update to kernel 3.10.0-957.27.2 there were many commits related to AMD CPU, you can check those here https://git.centos.org/rpms/kernel/c/2805d88868622f5422be63bcc479fe444543570d?branch=c7
This seems to be related to those changes.

CentOS is a rebuild of the sources used to create RHEL. We do not modify anything except to remove branding and logos. You will need to submit your request to Redhat via bugzilla.redhat.com and if/when RH accepts it and incorporates it into RHEL and releases a patched version, then CentOS will pick it up and rebuild it.
