Summary0016555: vim does not find nano's lockfile
DescriptionIn certain circumstances, vim does not recognize nano's lockfile and allows editing of a file already being edited by nano.
Steps To ReproduceThe bug can be reproduced each and every time like this:

1a. in one terminal
change to a directory
start editing a file with nano using a relative path

1b. in another terminal
change to a different directory
start editing the same file using vi with an absolute path

Additional InformationThe bug seems to manifest dependent on the current working directory.

The bug will NOT be reproduced in the following situations:

2a. in one terminal
change to a directory
start editing a file with nano using an absolute path

2b. in another terminal
change to a different directory
start editing the same file using vi with an absolute path

3a. in one terminal
change to a directory
start editing a file with nano using a relative path

3b. in another terminal
change to the same directory
start editing the same file using vi with a relative path

This misbehavior may be an upstream problem. It is also present in at least two other distros: Raspbian GNU/Linux 10 (buster) and Devuan GNU/Linux ascii
