Summary0016696: NIC link down after guest OS suspend and resume (e1000e/vmxnet3 driver)
DescriptionThe OS is Centos 8 Stream (4.18.0-144.el8.x86_64). It is using Network Manager.
It is a VM under VMware Workstation 15.5.

Test with some NIC drivers: e1000/e1000e/vmxnet3. It have problem after VM suspend and resume.
Please note e1000 driver is no longer supported in RHEL8/Centos8. So I would like to see the other drivers could work in this scenario.
Steps To ReproduceTo reproduce the problem:

Suspend the VM in the VMware GUI.
The resume the VM after a while.

For NIC using e1000, the network link is resumed.
For NIC using e1000e/vmxnet3, the network link is not resumed.
