Summary0016838: Intel NIC I219-LM Network speed slowdown
DescriptionAfter update to 7.5 from 7.4, outgoing network speed is dramatic slow.
Problem exists in 7.6, 7.7.

# lspci -nn | grep -i eth
00:1f.6 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation Ethernet Connection (2) I219-LM [8086:15b7] (rev 31)
Steps To ReproduceInstall Centos 7.4 and iperf3. (HostA 10.10.1.1)
Start iperf3:
# iperf -s -p 1234

Test from other host:
# iperf3 -c 10.10.1.1 -p 1234 -t 120 -P 20 -R
Got about 900-950Mbps

Update HostA to 7.5/7.6/7.7 or fresh install 7.5/7.6/7.7 - iperf shows 530-570Mbps

User to user suggestion: as a workaround you can disable in the bios the power management of the NIC. This is the only workaround that we found so far. I am interested if you manage to pinpoint the real issue.
