|Summary||0016978: Missing generic cloud image link for centos8|
|Description||The 6 and 7 images hosted a https://cloud.centos.org also contain a generically named image that points to the latest build. (https://cloud.centos.org/centos/7/images/CentOS-7-x86_64-GenericCloud.qcow2 for example)|
This is missing for 8 and 8-stream.
Would it be possible to have this added? It's very convenient to not have to write logic into my scripts to grab the latest version.

I don't know if it's of any help, but: +1
We use an auto-updater that requests a HEAD on the generic image URL, looking for the Last-Modified header, allowing to us to always use the latest CentOS release. Currently, we can't register CentOS 8 in our system because there's no such generic/latest link.
same here, we use it for our CI
that would be very useful
