|Summary||0017034: Kernal version not booting|
|Description||Since performing a yum update the CentOS box will not boot into the latest Kernal. The system boots and selects the Kernal version but sits on a black screen with a flashing underscore. Pressing CTRL + ALT + DEL will allow to select an older Kernal which will then boot up.|
|Steps To Reproduce||Reboot the CentOS box.|

|What was the version of the last kernel that boots up?|
|2.6.32-754.23.1.el6.x86_64 is the version that I can boot into, 24, 25 & 27 won't boot.|
I looked at the change log of kernel-2.6.32-754.24 but nothing obvious pops up. You really want to use one of the support venues (CentOS mailing list or forums). If or when a bug is identified, then that can be handled in the bug tracker.
When seeking for help, be sure to provide all the detailed info such as your hardware (graphics device for example).
