DescriptionI'm trying to build Remmina for EPEL 8 (I'm the maintainer of the package), but the avahi package is one of the "broken" ones where only the base package is included in RHEL, while the subpackages of it (avahi-devel, etc.) are missing.

Any chance these packages could go in Devel? I'm still blocked on building Remmina for EPEL 8:

Just to add some clarification to this bug report, the avahi-devel subpackage is currently present in CentOS repos.

However, the avahi-ui-devel subpackage is what is needed to build Remmina for EPEL 8 and that is missing from CentOS repos.

Is there any progress on this? Remmina is important for my use of Centos/RHEL. Remmina provides remote access to windows machines with RDP and yubikey authentication. There isn't an alternative at the moment. Flatpak would work, but Flatpak doesn't currently support smart cards.

This bug can be closed.

As the new maintainer of remmina for fedora and EPEL, the fixed and first package issue for EL8 is in EPEL testing[1] and release pending.
