Summary0017734: System shutdown immediately after booting to OS
DescriptionHi Team,

We are using X86 based system(Intel Kabylake ) and we tried to boot to CentOS(Configuration Given below).

After booting to CentOS. System is getting shut down very immediately without user intervention.

Kindly note:- With the same Kabylake system, Cent OS Version 8 is booted successfully and there is not issue.

What could be the issue with CentOS Version 7.7? Could you please help us to unblock.

1. Intel Processor used:-

2. CentOS used:-
Centos Linux release 7.7.1908, Kernel version is 4.7.0.intel.r5.0

CentOS 7.7 is almost an year out of date and no longer supported by us. Please use 7.8 instead.
The kernel you mentioned is not shipped by CentOS and therefore not supported by us. Not to mention that as steps to reproduce you mention "install CentOS 7.7 / Boot " which does not conform to your situation, a stock CentOS installation not bringing in kernel 4.7
Unless you can reproduce the issue using the most current CentOS version/packages, we cannot help you and I will close this ticket.
