Summary | 0017736: MySQL package suddenly missing without any notice
Description | Hey everyone, today our docker builds started failing because the mysql package is suddenly missing in CentOS 8. I'm not sure if this is intended, but it probably is because it wasn't even available here as a category, hence I chose `mysql-connector-java`. I'm very confused, maybe your build system just had a problem? Here's the thing: - Red Hat application streams state that mysql will be maintained until April 2023 - The mysql module is still present, but only contains packages for mecab - The actual packages can still be found on the mirror page (http://mirror.centos.org/centos/8/AppStream/x86_64/os/Packages/) So could anyone please tell me if we need to choose an alternative repo or if this is just a bug?
