latest update seems to be early August there, so I had hoped it had been pushed, but no ...

Worth investigating as what was pushed to mirror.centos.org matches c8 branch in git.centos.org.
But reported pkg is from CentOS Stream and so matches what was pushed to c8s branch for that pkg
