Description | We have done the yum updates and it is updated. When we reboot the Server/OS it is getting hanged and after 30 to 40 minutes it came online. Mean it hang when rebooting it and start after a long time. [root@cloudvirtualizor ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release CentOS Linux release 7.9.2009 (Core) [root@cloudvirtualizor ~]# uname -r 3.10.0-1160.2.2.el7.x86_64 [root@cloudvirtualizor ~]# The server and its disk RAM everything is fine and brand new. It is tested. The OS-level issue. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | When rebooting it, it is getting hanged and after 30 to 40 minutes its comes online. We have installed KVM virtualzior on it. but it should not have any issues. | ||||

There is nothing at all in the files I looked at there that even shows there was a problem, let alone what it might be. I looked at dmesg and kernel.txt, the rest is redundant. You need to give considerably more detail about what you think the problem is. | |

First of all you must identify if it spends time before rebooting or after it starts to boot. And factor in the time spent in BIOS ( or whatever firmware it has ). My IBM blades needed 3 minutes to pass the self checks, even when the RAM test was disabled. | |
