Summary | 0017974: The cmake package don't provides the cmake3 tag
Description | cmake-3.18.2-8.el8.x86_64.rpm from centos8 stream don't provide the cmake3 tag, like it is done on the Fedora and EPEL 7, EPEL 8 packages. rpm -qp --provides /tmp/cmake-3.18.2-8.el8.x86_64.rpm bundled(json-cpp) = 0:1.8.2 bundled(kwsys) bundled(md5-deutsch) cmake = 3.18.2-8.el8 cmake(x86-64) = 3.18.2-8.el8 The other packages also provides the cmake3 tag, so via cmake3, cmake3 call installed on Fedora, CentOS8, CentOS7. But not on CentOS8 stream. :( Sample on Fedora 32: rpm -q --provides cmake bundled(kwsys) bundled(md5-deutsch) cmake = 3.17.4-2.fc32 cmake(x86-64) = 3.17.4-2.fc32 cmake3 = 3.17.4-2.fc32
