Could you show me the file centos-noindex-8.0.tar.gz? And then I could help you to solve this problem. If you need to contact me: https://vsudoblog.wixsite.com/home |

I obviously cannot "show you the file" - because as I just said, there is no such file anywhere on the internet. Someone inside RedHat seems to have taken a copy of the HTTPD source code and saved it under some other name (centos-noindex-8.0.tar.gz - which is not the name it was downloaded as)... in order to build this package. Either that, or the SPEC file is not the original that was used to build our release RPMs (has some other version codes in it - like "noindex" perhaps) - either way - that's not allowed. As I'm sure you know - it is a condition of using the source code built by authors like myself and the Apache team that you make this source available to everyone - it is a licence violation to release SPEC files that point to unknown sources and to release RPM's that are built from things that comprise source you've not released or identified. |
