Summary0018145: SELinux is preventing /usr/bin/dbus-launch from 'read' accesses on the lnk_file /var/lib/dbus/machine-id.
DescriptionDescription of problem:
SELinux is preventing /usr/bin/dbus-launch from 'read' accesses on the lnk_file /var/lib/dbus/machine-id.

***** Plugin restorecon (82.4 confidence) suggests ************************

If you want to fix the label.
/var/lib/dbus/machine-id default label should be system_dbusd_var_lib_t.
Then you can run restorecon. The access attempt may have been stopped due to insufficient permissions to access a parent directory in which case try to change the following command accordingly.
Do
# /sbin/restorecon -v /var/lib/dbus/machine-id

***** Plugin file (7.05 confidence) suggests ******************************

If you think this is caused by a badly mislabeled machine.
Then you need to fully relabel.
Do
touch /.autorelabel; reboot

If you want to allow dbus-launch to have read access on the machine-id lnk_file
Then you need to change the label on /var/lib/dbus/machine-id

Then execute:
restorecon -v '/var/lib/dbus/machine-id'

***** Plugin catchall (1.31 confidence) suggests **************************

If you believe that dbus-launch should be allowed read access on the machine-id lnk_file by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# ausearch -c 'dbus-launch' --raw | audit2allow -M my-dbuslaunch
# semodule -i my-dbuslaunch.pp
