Description | Libguestfs is suddenly failing after updating OS and rebooting. The server is currently booted to : 3.10.0-1160.81.1.el7.x86_64 Both versions are failing : Libguestfs 1.40.2-10.el7 Libguestfs 1.28.1-1.56.el7.centos I have attached the error message in screenshot. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | Run libguestfs-test-tool and I see that error. | ||||

libguestfs has not been updated since Oct 2020 so I doubt it has anything to do with your issue. on top of that, except for the kernel there were no updates in the last several months that should have impacted kvm. I suggest to revert to the previous kernel that worked for you and veify if it still works. If it does, you should file a bug at bugzilla.redhat.com against the kernel component. If it still does not work, the problem lies somewhere else and you need to do some more debugging. | |
