Summary0005091: Network configuration during install are not written to disk
DescriptionOn the minimal CentOS 6 spin, when I configure a network interface with anaconda during installation, no file is generated (/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ethX). Doing no configuration (no static IP in my case) and leaving everything as is do generate a DHCP default configuration.

And oddly, it only happen on the x86_64 spin, the i386 spin do not expose this bug.

Please be as kind as to follow http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/Installation_Guide/s1-guimode-interface-x86.html#sect-adminoptions-screenshots and provide the screenshots taken during the network configuring steps
I need them in order to try to reproduce the issue.
Thank you

Everything working just fine in yet another test install. Mind the INcorect settings purposely filed in network-settings2.jpeg and which can be found identically incorrect in network-settings3.jpeg.

Not reproducible, I tested with both static and dhcp, single and 3 NICs, the network settings files for all interfaces were written correctly.

Damn, I've been able to reproduce it reliably on a 3 NICs Proliant Server on x86_64 but the server is now in production use so ...

We'll leave the bug report open, but waiting for a reproducer. I've installed from the minimal.iso dozens of time prior and after its release and never faced this issue ( unless there was no network configured at all ).
