=================================

Seems to be similar to upstream bug:

http://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=512613

=================================

There seems to be no issues if smartd is turned off (I also uninstalled smartmontools.)

If left alone, this can cause Raid Array degradation.

Hi, same issue with in CentOS 5.8 - 2.6.18-308.4.1.el5 and smartmontools-5.38-3.el5.

This is in an Sun X4540 with lots of disks.

However, only disks sda-sdz are reporting these SCSI events (probably because of old version of smartmontools).
