Summary0006708: Australia AEST timezone didnt transition to AEDT on the 6th October 2013
DescriptionCentos 6.4 doesnt correct change from Australia/Sydney EST to EDT, this was supposed to have occurred on the 6th October 2013

This is happening on Centos 5.9 and Centos 6.4

Information from a 6.4 server....

[root@autoline ~]# date
Wed Oct 23 09:43:31 EST 2013

The actual time is being reported correctly as 9:43am, however it should display EDT not EST and this should have occured from the 6th October at 3am

[root@autoline ~]# zdump -v /etc/localtime | grep 2013

The time is being maintained correctly by a NTP Stratum clock which caused the Centos system to offset by 1 hour when the actual transition from EST to EDT took place

How can I configure in the EDT from the 6th October until 6th April 2014 when it is supposed to transition to EST?
