Summary | 0007704: samba oplock timeouts
Description | Getting lots of oplock timeouts in the log files.. eg: Oct 17 14:21:37 ****** smbd[34051]: [2014/10/17 14:21:37.677657, 0] ../source3/smbd/oplock.c:333(oplock_timeout_handler) Oct 17 14:21:37 ****** smbd[34051]: Oplock break failed for file blah.xlsx -- replying anyway From what I can see this was a bug that was fixed back in samba 4.1.4 It relates to samba bug #10436 https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10436 I can't see this patch in the srpm for the current centos 7 update of samba.. Any chance it could be added ??? or is there something else I'm missing? Cheers Richard
