Summary | 0007949: Reboot Failures using 'shutdown now -r' |
---|
Description | I have performed a new install of CentOS 7.0 and am unable to do a effective 'shutdown now -r' command. When this command is executed the system shuts down and a reboot starts to the point of selecting the kernel, but immediately after selecting the kernel the machine hangs until I turn the machine off and then on again. The machine will boot after it is turned off. I am using a Gateway SX2855-UB12P. |
---|
Steps To Reproduce | this happens every time the command 'shutdown now -r' |
---|
Additional Information | I have tried running this machine at level 3 or level 5 and the symptoms are the same. I have turned selinux off and on and the symptoms are the same. |
