This sounds very much like an add. repo is installed.
What's the output of 'yum repolist'?
MySQL (in any form) is not present in any of the repositories provided by CentOS. Its presence on your system means that
- you have added a 3rd party repository
- that repository has higher priority than CentOS ones
Please fix your configuration - eventually by removing MySQL's repository if you were not planning on using it.
