Summary | 0008384: Missing hid drivers during the installation process
Description | An external "ThinkPad USB Keyboard with TrackPoint" (compact and useful for servers) isn't recognized. Installation with a PS/2 keyboard is OK and after reboot the ThinkPad keyboard works properly. When I connect a PS/2 keyboard during the installation process and via USB flash insert hid-lenovo-tpkbd.ko (extracted from kernel-3.10.0-229.el7.x86_64.rpm, /lib/modules/3.10.0-229.el7.x86_64/kernel/drivers/hid/*), the ThinkPad USB Keyboard starts working properly incl. trackpoint.
Additional Information | Would it be possible to include .../kernel/drivers/hid/* into the installation process? Thank you in advance. P.
